@999HP here! Normally, I don’t jump ahead of any series but the 33rd anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back force pushed a few entries to herald the return of #ThrowbackThursday.

Known for the short screen time of Boba Fett, return of Han Solo and a great lesson in the force, TESB has been dubbed by many fanst as the last great Star Wars movie. How can you argue over it’s cultural impact? It addresses social issues, women’s rights and politics in the same movie! Plus it has one of my favorite movie moments! Hello Slave Leia!!
Across the galaxy: I know I didn’t say much about this movie but all joking aside, TESB’s been a staple in the public consciousness. It brought America into the 1980′s and showed that playing a badass on screen can lead to more future badass roles (at least for Harrison Ford). This beloved franchise spawned a prequel trilogy, animated series and now Disney owns the rights to make more intellectual property. If Marvel is any example of how Disney treats IP’s then the franchise is in great hands.
Verdict: If you haven’t watched it yet, shame on you. Watch the original trilogy as soon as schedule permits. May the force be with you!
